Get involved with your local drama group.

Brightlight Theatre Company is always looking for keen new members to join us - whether on stage, behind stage or in front of it! Unlike other groups, there are no interviews, auditions or committee meetings to decide suitability of members, and we welcome anyone over the age of 18, regardless of their experience. We meet weekly at Shawfield School in Ash at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you think Brightlight might be for you then please contact us to arrange a convenient time to come down to see us in action. If after seeing us you decide that you'd like to be involved we offer two types of membership:

Full Membership (£40 per year)

As a full member you can be involved in all aspects of Brightlight. You can audition for a part in one of our productions or put yourself forward for a technical role. You can also stand to become a member of the committee, join in all of the social activities and vote on group issues to shape Brightlight’s future.

Concessionary Membership (£30 per year)

The benefits are the same as full members but are for those who are in full time education, those who are retired and anyone who is unemployed.
