Songkeeper

by Jamie Lakritz | 24th Sept

As the stars begin to fade from the night sky, Ambert and Provolov begin a perilous journey to reignite them.

Following the success of our performance of The Start of Something at Login Lounge in Camberley, we’re bringing our latest festival play, Songkeeper, to their stage on 24th September.

As the stars begin to disappear from the night sky, Ambert and Provolov take to the ocean to save their island community. Both men have secrets to hide, secrets that have weighed them down. Will the shadows of the past extinguish their hope of salvation? This brand new short play by local award-winning playwright, Jamie Lakritz, explores our place in the world.

Given the themes of the play, all of Brightlight's proceeds, after venue costs, will be donated to Big Leaf Foundation - a charity that supports displaced young people aged 15-25 in Surrey.

Tuesday 24th September at 8:00pm at Login Lounge, Camberley. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7.50.
